No Dig Zucchinis

by hayden
(NSW Australia)

Hi. My abundant crop of (no dig) zucchinis has just finished. Can anyone recommend what I could/should plant in this same no-dig bed after zucchinis. Should I use the folage as part of another layer?
Thanks,
Hayden.

no dig zuchinnis NEW

Hi Hayden and congratulations on a gr8 No-Dig crop. I became a No- Dig devotee many years ago when a heart attack left me with only 30% heart function but I should have changed sooner as my garden has bloomed ever since. From my experience I would not plant zuchinis in the same patch as it is possible to multiply disease problems. However if you had no disease problems I would be very generous with replacement nutrients and give it a go but as a general rule rotating crops is the preferred way to garden sustainably as it breaks the disease cycle.
Good luck
Kiwi George
